Shrink Tunnel
Heavy-duty, reliable and tailored to your product and package
Shrink tunnels are essential for achieving secure and professional packaging using shrink film. The heat applied in these tunnels causes the shrink film to tightly conform to product contours, ensuring long-lasting protection during transportation, storage, and display.
Our shrink tunnels, also known as heated shrink tunnels or shrink wrap tunnels, feature a high temperature-rated Habasit conveyor belt and a dual-shell hood design with ceramic fiber insulation for efficient heat retention. They include a direct drive overhead hot air blower and silicone entrance and exit curtains for precise heat distribution. Film cooling fans at the exit ensure a smooth finish.

The EDL Inline Automatic Wrapper is a flexible and reliable shrink-wrapping solution engineered to meet a wide range of packaging needs. Known for its versatility, the Inline Automatic Wrapper combines industrial-grade design with automated precision, delivering consistent packaging results while maximizing throughput and minimizing waste. For large-scale applications, the same machine configuration is often referred to as the Panel Wrapper, used for oversized or heavy products that require total protection during shipping and storage.
How It Works
Products are automatically loaded onto the infeed conveyor where sensors detect size and position. The wrapper centers each product and advances it through the film web and sealing area. A pack clamp gently holds the product while the sealing jaws close, creating a sleeve of LDPE film around it.
For shrink applications, the product then passes through a heat tunnel that pulls the film tight, forming a clean, secure wrap. When used for bagging, the film remains unshrunken, creating a protective enclosure ideal for products sensitive to heat or appearance changes.
From start to finish, the Inline Automatic Wrapper operates with consistent control — automatically measuring, centering, sealing, and discharging wrapped products for dependable, repeatable performance.
